In the land of Chimpanzees I was a Monkey...

..aye caramba...in the shade all day, freezing cold and with a wind whistling under the arches, not a lot of people but hey...after 28 years of not doing them I was outside with a market stall. Now I was doing more checking of the punters than most were doing of my stall, learning excercise although I've got to admit that the thought of flogging squllions of quids worth of images was also at the forefront of my mind....anyhow always good to check the demographics of possible customers. So I didn't lose money and made a teeny tiny bit, if i wanted to make money then I would be selling Pies, crap imported jewellery and over priced blankets from China...I'm not trying to sound bitter and twisted but that's what folk seemed to want, which is quite odd as most of that is available on most high streets??!!!! So now it comes to the analysis of how i would change things for next time...
So folk were after more 'scenes of manchester' the stuff that muggles* can understand. Mounts and picture mounts not a dribble of interest...mounted prints smaller and more accessible for a rummage, some of my stuff was too' far out 'for them to understand. So I've already changed the display, will alter the stock balance and have more definable images of manchester...so onto the first Sunday in May...maybe see you there.
