So the first wander around with the Nikon Z6ii and Sirui 50mm T2.9, it's Scotland, late Autumn, so the weather could best be described as grey. The shooting setup is fully manual, T set at T.11, shutter speed at 1/80th and ISO on Auto which moved between iso 100 to iso 600. I did set the focus on 5 metres but using Focus peaking I was able to check how the sharp areas of the images looked in camera. Processing is another matter as I found barrelling on some images needed sorting with some vignetting on the left hand side, maybe the challenging light conditions had something to do with the vignette although I have a UV filter on and will do some comparative shots with and without it. I also have a CPL and ND1000 but they can wait until I have my shooting technique nailed. I need to have a serious talk with the Nikon as it defaulted back to Large Jpegs every time it was 'woken' up to shoot.Below are images captured on a grey mornings walk in Girvan. I've processed these in Lightroom moving them over to Photoshop to desqueeze and back into Lightroom. As it was flat and grey I have processed the image files to reflect this.....
