Beachcombing at Ballantrae
So here we are, the dying embers of Round 1 of covid lockdowns, more on the way probably.....so in those moments between downpours we are off out and exploring. Bumbling down the A77 towards Stranraer lies the little coastal village of Ballantrae, at this point the road sweeps away from the coast so this time we took a right and ended up at a car park overlooking an enormous shingle/pebble beach. Always amazed at this bit of Ayrshire coast in the diversity of it's beach structures. As ever , there was hardly anyone there, the complete opposite to those scenes from Bournemouth the other week. So besides collecting some more Driftwood (have a look on my instagram account) it was a 50mm lens beachcombing bumble. Now I only explores a small part of this coast so this is just a snapshot of what was there. Bisous.
