Those nimble brained amongst you, well that should be most of you, will have noticed the 'Latest Images', Useful information and Store pages have gone west, never to return... just a bit of tidying up of the place. I have so many images in the can and I'm not doing 'work' stuff like I should be so it may seem that I'm ignoring you, not doing things I'd promised...opps the Polaroid toot....but as I live in this rather wonderful part of France and have had lots of guests/social dos/ trips to the beach/ beaucoup de travail dans la ferme to contend with...well things are a little out of chunter... ..it's only going to get worse...off back to England for a 'Howdy Doody, nice to see you again' session.back over here and then the floodgates of visitors starts....I'll start charging....maybe get some tent's up in the top meadow...hmmmm...anyhow some new ones from Carantec Beach...not the lovliest but some snapping opps to be found.

I'm getting my head around how best to use the road system around here now, so many good routes, but which ones to use??? Nipped off to the Crozon penninsula the other day as a break from all the work down on the farm, well it was raining so we thought we'd explore, and as neither of us had been over to Crozon we though we'd toddle off there. So lots of excellent places to get some images from found and then we came across the Terenez Bridge. Supports in the shape of the greek letter Lambda and a crazy curved suspension bridge with access points all over the place. From the banks of the river I'll go back in Autumn once the leaves have dropped, as this will open out the view more. Now the light was a bit grim but that's never a reason not to take a snap so here are a few in camera multi shots from there. Gone for a 16 x 9 crop, 6 in camera exposures, light was so naff they were almost mono anyway so just helped them along in LR 5.5
Well that was an exciting crossing, Bit like being on an enormous version of the Wild Mouse going there and on the way back...hmmm well all those French Rugby fans made it an 'intresting' journey coming back with their singing , stamping and chanting...come on Wales..stuff them...is all I have to add.
Business done over there and had a few days when the weather turned peachy to take a few snaps and also check out a lot of galleries dotted about Brittany, you can teach an old dog new tricks as I saw some ways of presentation that , well maybe, only the French could dream up...I will be stealing in my best plagiarising way some of them... Images to follow.. computer grinding away as it (finally) gets another of my WWPW2013 prizes .so will the NIK EFX collection change the way my images appear...well Silver Efx may do that to my Mono stuff but until I rummage around in there...well who knows!! Okay as it's a google product it shut down the lot and after a while, I'm back again... so I'll buzz of and go and see what NIK software can do for me what no other software can.... but in the mean time... 500 px seems to want, and now does , licence some of my images, as well as have them there for retail purposes which is nice..I think I'll jump a bit more into 500px as it does sem to suit the ..ahem..'quirky' style of image making I'm doing at the moment, wallet out time for a subscription then.. almost fainted as Getty pulled their finger out and sold something last month...was there an R in the month???? So time to download some more french stuff, I've gone back a bit on the technique front and done quite a few, double exposures...yes just the 2 multi's..some looked good but what do I know until we go full screen could be bin jobs...best to find out... Morlaix, Huelgoat, Roscoff...and odd bits of countryside..I will whip them all up into a souffle of quirkyness... back home, well for the moment, lots of images in the can but at the moment not a lot of time to get them organised and sorted... I'd forgotten how much I love Brittany and it's varied coast and countryside. Lots of meetings and looks like next year is going to be a bit of an adventure over there in France, so I have a lot of planning to get through over the next few months which will mean reactivating a lot of dormant brain cells, may be too late for some of them. I'll start posting stuff later but went to a 'local' sculpture park..it was quite breathtakingly bonkers...the North and South coasts..lovely Huelgoat and Morlaix and bantered up and down the N164 turning left and right occasionally..loads of fun, met lots of nice folk and a a few brits as well... expect a bit of French to start creeping into the blogs as well , ha, my old french teacher would be looking up to the heavens and zoot aloring until la vache came home...yep...long way to go.....
