Rust

A lifetime ago we set off to the Hebridean islands with a view to moving there...now there is a but coming.... The houses we saw were in small communities and everyone seemed to have rusting old vehicles, dilapidated boats or stacks of rusting piles of metal on their drives or in their gardens. Now I understand recycling can be a big issue on a small offshore island which brings me to the next lot of images from New Zealand. So right in the heart of the South Island a similar problem is faced by the locals...recycling old broken stuff. One place we drove through creatively upcycled things then some of the other small towns just left stuff out to rot...here are some from the latter case.
